JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective
The Human Resources Onboarding & Employee Relationship Specialist performs the operational functions related to the post-offer candidate experience.  This role partners with all departments to create a consistent new hire experience that allows our new employees to be productive in their roles “Day One”.  The On-Boarding & Employee Relationship Specialist has ownership of enrolling the in-coming employee into our Employee Self-Service Portal (HRIS), communication of process, and coordination of pre-employment activities, as well as ownership of ongoing employee relations that will support the company’s employee retention strategy. This position requires someone who has a contagious and positive attitude, inspires others, and models the behaviors of genuine, caring, and friendly.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Responsible for performing the on-boarding processes for all new hires: updating and sending the contingent offer letter, contract, setting up the background check and drug screen (if applicable), enrollment into the required systems, and other associated tasks. Ensures compliance with USCIS Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification; periodically audits Forms I-9.  Performs required e-Verify and compliance tasks. Ensures equipment, systems and access requirements have been communicated to appropriate departments for prospective new hire.
•Serves as coordinator to recruiters/hiring managers in determining how the on-boarding processes are working and recommends changes in overcoming roadblocks that hinder the process
