Job Title:Quality Manager

TTF is recruiting for a full-time Quality Manager for a client in Mesa, Arizona. OBJECTIVES and SCOPE of position:

Responsible for maintaining a local quality assurance system that promotes customer satisfaction and that positively impacts the financial performance of company. Champions continuous improvement efforts and defect-reduction initiatives to establish an effective Quality Management system. Initiate and implement quality improvement activities as appropriate (e.g., Kaizan, six sigma) to raise the performance of the company’s product line. Educate and train employees regarding their role on and impact in the quality management system.


•  Implement, develop, and promote the management and integration of a QMS
• Serve as a quality assurance resource for problem identification, resolution, loss reporting, and continuous improvement within the site
•  Responsible for quality program to meet customer needs
•  Manage the quality assurance department activities and resources on a day-to-day basis
•  Support concurrent engineering efforts by participating in design development projects, representing quality assurance and the customer
•  Implement and document procedures for process control, process improvement, testing and inspection
•  Establish and implement consistent metrics (process capability, control charts, measurement quality) for monitoring systems effectiveness and to enable managers to make sound quality decisions that will be practiced
•  Perform root-cause analysis and other problem-solving activities to identify effective corrective actions and process improvements
•  Establish a consistent method for collection and analysis systems of statistical data to predict trends that will affect improvement of product quality within the site
•  Analyze customers’ product specifications to establish efficient, cost-effective requirements for ease of manufacture and reproducibility
•  Develop quality planning methods for product lines manufactured in Mesa, AZ site
•  Monitor vendor quality performance and work with Supply Chain Management to drive vendor quality improvements
•  Review customer purchase orders, contracts, and change requests and ensure that the necessary criteria and provisions are included in quality and process plans
•  Interact with customers to identify opportunities to improve quality and establish feedback with manufacturing and development personnel
•  Maintain Quality Systems Certifications
•  Enhance Quality/Business Systems: Deploy CompliantPro
•  Report quality issues, trends, and losses to senior management
•  Participate in internal and external quality audits
•  Drive Quality Incident-Free culture within FFEM, supplier quality and metrology, excursion reduction, change control and management process
•  Interface with suppliers and customer quality representatives concerning problems with quality control and assure that effective corrective action is implemented


•  BS in Chemical Engineering or related field. Masters preferred.
•  Minimum 5 years’ experience in QA systems implementation and management with 3 years in the semiconductor or semiconductor supplier industry
•  Experience in design/prototype manufacture
•  Six Sigma black-belt certified preferred
•  Proven track record of business performance improvement
•  ISO9001:2008 or ISO9001:2015 knowledge preferred
•  Broad knowledge of theory and principles of statistics and statistical process control
•  Experience in designing and implementing quality systems
•  Diverse knowledge of inspection and control methods, techniques, and documentation
•  Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
•  Strong computer skills including quality control applications
•  Thorough understanding of general safety requirements
