Job Title:Purchasing Agent
Primary Skills:Process purchase orders for components and services

TTF is recruiting for a Purchasing Agent for a national General Contractor in the Phoenix area. This is a direct-hire position with an excellent compensation and benefits package. The Purchasing Operations Agent is responsible for acquiring inventory, supplies, and other goods and services as required by customers. Additionally, he/she is responsible for managing inventory levels for the company and for key customers.

Primary Job Duties:

• Process purchase orders for components and services
• Manage strategic inventory programs
• Management and review of exception-based inventory customer inventory reports
• Source third party products
• Manage expedites
• Maintain parts in business system
• Troubleshoot problems with deliveries
• Manage freight, incoming and outgoing
• Maintain assigned quality system documents and processes
• Factory reporting as required
• Qualify suppliers and maintain Approved Supplier List
• Maintain purchasing KPI’s
• Vendor Returns


• General knowledge of procurement procedures and practices
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Computer knowledge including Microsoft Excel and Word
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Comfortable working with strict deadlines

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or similar field
• Minimum 2 year’s purchasing experience
