SeeKing HR, a comprehensive human resource consulting firm providing strategic guidance, program management, employee development and employment services to a variety of clients, is sourcing candidates for an Accounting Clerk position for a broadband and cable television company based out of San Antonio, Texas.


The Accounting Clerk will provide administrative support to ensure effective, efficient and accurate accounting and administrative operations. Other responsibilities include assisting in the maintenance of the accounting system and its integrity. The Accounting Clerk will also support various tasks including transmittals, sales tax filings, accounts payable, vendor and purchase order accounting.


Qualified candidates will have:


•  High school diploma or equivalent
•  Minimum of 3 year experience in accounting
•  Experience with database administration and accounts payable
•  Strong knowledge of QuickBooks and Microsoft Office


Typical duties include:


•  Compiles statistical, financial, accounting or auditing reports. 
•  Ensures accuracy of work performed, such as balancing edits to source documents, processing invoices as needed and acts as back-up to processing payroll as needed.  
•  Reconciles monthly credit card statements for Executive Officer(s). 
•  Utilizes a variety of resources to determine appropriate accounting rules, internal controls as well as investigative tools to research source of transactions.  
•  Enters invoices, prepares checks, reconciles credit card statements and conducts postage meter reporting.
•  Handles a diverse workload and meets deadlines for work output such as check run schedules and other reporting deadlines. 
•  Establishes relationships with outside vendors. 
•  Performs other duties as assigned.
