POSITION: Assistant Project Manager  



LOCATION:  Hampton,
VA – Corporate HQ

BlueForce,
Inc.
is seeking to hire a full-time Assistant Project Manager who will work
directly with Program/Project Managers (PM) on multiple projects to support
government contract operations across domestic and international portfolios.



 



DUTIES
AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Assist with project schedules, meetings, agenda
    development, and coordination requirements across multiple locations and time
    zones, potentially in multiple languages.

  • Assist with tasks related to contractual compliance,
    service quality, staffing, financial performance and technical requirements.

  • Assist with coordination for personnel requirements
    including onboarding, travel, visas, entry requirements, and access
    requirements.

  • Coordinate purchasing, shipping, delivery,
    inventory, and similar activities.

  • Review, analyze, and report on performance
    indicators, requirements, expectations and outcomes.

  • Special projects as assigned.

  • Office environment with operational hours between 8
    am to 5 pm. 

  • Willingness to work outside normal work hours
    including weekends, holidays and during times of crisis.

















 



KNOWLEDGE,
SKILLS and ABILITIES



  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required

  • Willingness to occasionally travel both inside and
    outside the United States

  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and
    PowerPoint

  • Eligible for a security clearance

  • Able to fail fast and learn quickly from mistakes

  • Comfortable with a high-stakes, competitive
    environment

  • Highly adaptable to uncertainty, ambiguity and
    random change

  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills

  • Ability to be an effective team member and display
    initiative

  • Clear written and verbal communications with extreme
    attention to detail
