Airbus is creating a new startup in the commercial unmanned aircraft space focused on services and are seeking experienced professionals to join this new group. The key technologies for this group include a customer-facing data portal and drone services cloud platform used to enable the scaled operations of drone pilots and services companies around the world.

This is a long-term open ended contract opportunity.

Position Summary: 

Airbus Aerial is seeking an Office Manager to provide support all team members of the new Airbus Aerial start-up.  The position can be part-time or full-time depending on candidate preference but may need to be adjusted depending on demand and need.  This position is paid on a Contract basis and is located in Atlanta, GA.   

Primary Responsibilities:   

  • Arranging travel for Team members, compiling & filing expense reports and updating the Expense Tracking worksheet for completed travel.  Arranging Team and departmental events including meeting requests, conference rooms with necessary IT or presentation equipment / materials available, and arranging catering when requested. 
  • Assist with preparing reports and/or presentations as requested.
  • Arrange customer meetings, dinners, etc., 
  • Screen incoming calls, visitors and correspondence for the Team. 
  • Managing Team members Calendars as necessary. 
  • Manage the ordering and stocking of equipment and supplies. 
  • Provide advance thinking and serve as the point-person for any facility-related problems with building/office maintenance or other vendors to remedy the situations with equipment or facility issues that may arise.
  • Draft correspondence for internal and external distribution from the Team as requested. 
  • Arranging visits of current and potential clients to Airbus Aerial, insuring all level of details and authorizations are completed.  

Qualified Experience / Skills / Training:  

  • Minimum of three (3) years in an administrative support role required.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Candidate must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. A good working knowledge of Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required. 

Education / Special Qualifications:  

  • Some college is preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
